D'Arcy has not - at least, as yet-  sought to make recordings as frequently as many
colleagues - far preferring instead the ernergy, atmosphere and setting of live concerts.

Recently, however, he has begun to publish a considerable selection of archive concert material
in repertoire covering four centuries:  material can be viewed on his
YouTube channel.
Other material uploaded by others can also be viewed.   PLEASE SEE MEDIA PAGE

Below you can find details of a few recent commercial recordings.

D'Arcy Trinkwon  -  Selby Abbey  -  DVD

This DVD was recorded on the temporary Viscount organ in Selby Abbey and made as part of the projects to raise money for the restoration of the great Hill organ made famous by Fernando Germani's recordings.

The finished restoration was celebrated in September 2016 in a gala concert featuring D'Arcy and John Scott Whiteley playing concertos with the Royal Northern Sinfonia conducted  by Adrian Partington.

"Trinkwon's playing is consistently fine and invariably musical throughout...            an account of penetration and depth... ends this brilliant recital in a mood of          unbridled positivism - as one might expect, and one can only give this most            valuable issue the strongest possible recommendation"                                                                                                                                                                         THE ORGAN

"It is with some interest and enthusiasm that I welcome this extremely well-played and most interestingly chosen selection...
superbly played by D’Arcy Trinkwon on the splendid Tonbridge School Chapel Marcussen organ...

The main plaudits should go to Trinkwon whose playing throughout – particularly his tempos, phrasing and registrations – are of the highest class, and who deserves our gratitude for bringing this music once more to our attention.
He has chosen his instrument well, in addition to compiling a first-class programme...”

INTERNATIONAL RECORD REVIEW

“Those of you who know Peeters' music - should welcome this...
Trinkwon has form with Peeters...he brings insight and a cool-headed approach, never allowing the natural exuberance
and rhythmic drive of the music to run out of control. Highly recommended.”

CHOIR & ORGAN

"D’Arcy Trinkwon has an obvious empathy with the music aided by his flawless technique...
I hope that this release will not be a one-off for D’Arcy Trinkwon is certainly the man to record more of Peeters’ organ music."

“So much infectious joy radiates from his performance... that purists could suffer severe pangs of guilt…
Technical difficulties don’t exist.  Laudable then to lend new enchantment to ‘standards’ like the Franck Choral – or even to communicate something of interest in Mendelssohn’s War March after all these years.”

ORGANISTS REVIEW

“He delivers a performance full of genuine life...
relishing the opportunities offered by this outstanding instrument. His enunciation of the fugue’s subject (BWV565) is an object-lesson,
as is his approach to the underlying pulse of the counterpoint... Franck’s Choral No.3 finds Trinkwon at his most interpretatively committed...”

INTERNATIONAL RECORD REVIEW

“Trinkwon shows masterly control of the dazzling display...
It is this affinity with his repertoire, instrument and environment that shows that there’s none better than Trinkwon to celebrate
this monster organ.”

THE ORGAN

“I have listened to D’Arcy in concert playing difficult organs yet he always produces a masterful result. It is excellent!”

     Many years ago...
 The first recording...

The start of the '90s... The end of the New Romantic era...
So outraged was one caustic and irate writer
Unable to deal with the enfant terrible...

                                              That he slated it...

"If this happened next door I'd call the police!"

                                                             What a great quote!
